1997年生まれ。4歳よりピアノを始める。
2015年、東京藝術大学に首席入学し、
宗次德二特待奨学生。
兵庫県立西宮高等学校音楽科を経て、東京藝術大学器楽科ピアノ専攻卒業後、同大学院修士課程を修了。ショパンの研究に励み大学院の論文テーマは『ショパン その演奏美学と作品への一考察ー弟子によって残された資料をもとにー』。
これまでにピアノを石井なをみ、伊藤恵各氏に、フォルテピアノを小倉貴久子氏に、室内楽を入江一雄・玉井菜摘各氏に師事。
2022年10月よりポーランドに渡り、ビドゴシュチ音楽院研究科にてパヴェル・ヴァカレツィ氏、カタジーナ・ポポヴァ＝ズィドロン氏に師事。

2025年第19回ショパン国際ピアノコンクール本大会出場。
2023年第2回ショパン国際ピリオド楽器コンクール本大会出場。
2023年4月には、東京・春・音楽祭で室内楽の師匠・入江一雄氏と共演。

ポポヴァ先生との出会いは2019年。
彼女のCDを聴いて感銘を受け、レッスンの機会を探し，ポーランドで行われるパデレフスキピアノアカデミーに申し込む。運よく参加者に選ばれ、ラファウ・ブレハッチ、カタジーナ・ポポヴァ＝ズィドロン両氏のレッスンを受講。
彼女の演奏を聴いて涙が溢れ、「この人に習わないと一生後悔する」と強く感じ、勇気を出して弟子にしてほしい旨を伝えた。
2024年9月から師事したもう1人の先生・ヴァカレツィ先生は、ポポヴァ先生の弟子で、2010年ショパン国際ピアノコンクールでファイナリストとなった。

幼少よりコンクール入賞を重ね、2011～12年ピティナ・ピアノコンペティション全国決勝大会においてF級金賞、G級銅賞。
第6回福田靖子賞選考会、第３位。第17回松方ホール音楽賞、奨励賞。
第15回ショパン国際ピアノコンクールin ASIA 高校生部門 アジア大会金賞、ソリスト賞。
第24回日本クラシック音楽コンクールピアノ部門高校女子の部第1位、グランプリ。
第65回全日本学生音楽コンクール中学の部、大阪大会第1位、第67回同コンクール高校の部、全国大会第2位。
第6回ロザリオ・マルチアーノ国際ピアノコンクール(ウィーン)第2グループ第1位受賞。
第5回ヨーロッパ国際ピアノコンクール in Japan 特級にてグランプリ、ショパン協会賞。
2017年ピティナ特級セミファイナリスト。
第12回セシリア国際音楽コンクール リサイタル部門ピアノの部、第1位。
第19回大阪国際音楽コンクール ピアノ部門 Age-G第３位。
ゲオルギス・ティミス国際ピアノコンクール、アマデウス国際ピアノコンクール、ブラームス国際コンクール、セミファイナリスト。

これまでに大阪交響楽団、ポーランドのトルン交響楽団、シレジア・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、兵庫県立西宮高等学校音楽科オーケストラ、西宮交響楽団と共演。

また、ポーランドのワジェンキ公園にて開催されたショパン・コンサート、ショパン博物館（ワルシャワ）でのリサイタル、KAWAI Polska Showroom（ワルシャワ）でのソロリサイタル、カワイ表参道「パウゼ」、ヤマハホール（銀座）、ヤマハ銀座コンサートサロン、日本財団ランチタイムコンサート、ラフォルジュルネ2018、中之島ミュージックフェスティバル、スタインウェイ東京、丸の内GWミュージックフェスティバル2020、兵庫県立美術館などでリサイタル。
兵庫県教育委員会より「ゆずりは賞」受賞。
2019年度、2020年度日本演奏連盟宗次エンジェル基金奨学生。

2025年冬にポーランドから完全帰国し、兵庫と東京を拠点に、演奏活動、および後進の指導にもあたる。
社会と繋がる音楽活動を目指しており、演奏を通して温もりや愛、作曲家の内面にあった様々な感情を共有することを目標としている。
音楽の他に、文学・哲学・絵画・写真・自然・人の心の動きに興味がある。
趣味は音楽鑑賞・食・映画・読書・美術鑑賞など。

Born in Japan in 1997, Mana Shoji began her piano study at the age of four.  She has studied with Mrs. Naomi lshii, Professor Kei Itoh, Professor Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron and Professor Paweł Wakarecy.
She was a student of The Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music from October 2022 to 2025. She has participated in the Main Competition of the 19th Chopin International Piano Competition. 

In 2015, she passed the entrance examination with the highest score for the piano course of Tokyo University of the Arts (Geidai), the only national arts university in Japan. She then proceeded to its graduate school, and graduated with her master’s degree. 
The theme of her master’s paper was “An analysis on Chopin’s aesthetics and works based on the accounts of his pupils”.

 She wants to be a musician who have connections  with the society and community through music.

In PTNA Piano Competition in Tokyo, she won the Gold Prize (Grade F) and the Bronze Prize (Grade G). She also got the numerous prizes in other competitions, which includes the Gold Prize in the 15th Chopin International Piano Competition in Asia, the 2nd Prize of the 67th All Japan Student Music Competition, the 3rd Prize of the 6th Yasuko Fukuda Scholarship Audition, Grand-Prix and Chopin Society Award the 5th Europe International Piano Competition in Japan (no age limit), the 1st Prize and Polish National Dance prize in the 6th International Rosario Marciano Piano Competition (Vienna) , the 1st Prize of the 12th Cecilia International Music competition (Recital Category), 3rd Prize of the 19th Osaka International Music Competition, and so on. In 2021, she participated the preliminary round of the Chopin International Competition in Poland. 

She also appears to the concert in Park ŁazienkowskiWarsaw in May 2015 and the recital in the Chopin Museum Warsaw in 2024 & 2025. Besides her concerts, she performed with Toruń Symphony Orchestra, Polish Silesian Philhamonic Orchestra, Osaka Symphony Orchestra, Nishinomiya Symphony Orchestra. In addition, she has participated in some master classes, the latest examples are Paderewski piano academy (Bydgoszcz), 10th International piano masterclass (Katowice).

She was a special scholarship student of Munetsugu Angel Fund/Japan Federation of Musicians for Emerging Performers of 2019/2020. 

She returned permanently from Poland to Japan in the winter of 2025, and is based in Hyogo and Tokyo, pursuing a career in performance while also teaching the next generation of musicians. 

She seeks to engage in musical activities that connect with society, aiming to share warmth, love, and the rich spectrum of emotions that lived within composers through her performances.

Besides music, she is interested in literature, philosophy, painting, history, architecture, and photography.
